{valentine's day special...}

i've seen a few other photographers put up an add about a "special" kind of photoshoot...just in time for valentines day...well let me just say, i have done a couple in the past..and had some of myself taken as well...and i LOVEed it!

please know that i have not put on my {family friendly} site that i do these, but know that i do! if this is something you would love to give to your {sweetheart} on valentines day, let me know! i can give you details when you call! the price for this one to two hour session is $125. this gives you at least 15 {secret} images on a full resolution CD, and copyright waiver. please know {NONE} of these pictures will be posted on my site nor will they be kept. these are YOUR private images.

{time for a new post...}

sheesh!that christmas stuff sure keeps a girl busy!

i am excited for the new year and the fun ideas swimming around in my head. for now, i'm posting some of my fave shots from the past year...maybe even some we haven't seen before...
this first picture is a fun one of my sweetie...we went out to our ward garden often...and the girls fave thing to pick were the {green beans}...they were so yummy and we had so many! it was always so stinkin' hot hence the face...

{christmas spirit...}

i {love} the christmas spirit...who doesnt! the warmth, the love, the memories with family, the comforting feeling i {love}to take each decoration out one at a time and think about how it represents our Saviors birth. so i took a few shots of my {fave} ornaments...knowing we get this whole month to remember the sweet baby Jesus, wrapped in nothing more than cloth in a tiny manger. the most humble begining for the beautiful soul. i am truely grateful for Him coming to earth to make sure my family, friends , myself and everyone else get to go home to our heavenly family.

now i was {NOT} the photographer for this wedding...just a family member to the bride...but i really wanted to test out my {skills}, so i took a few shots for {practice} sake.

i know..i know...{HOW} did you miss halloween, teresa?!!well i did. sue me. but dont really. that wouldn't be too nice. anyway. i was going through these and {sheesh} i forgot how cute these kids are! a pirate, a bumble bee, buzz lightyear {to the rescue} and a mermaid...i ♥ these kiddies!

{meet ma conchita...}

she is my beautiful grandma. my mom's mom. she is a kick in the pants! she keeps right up with us...dancing, goofing around and just being silly! she taught me how to make delish salsa and enchilada sauce this summer and tortillas when i was really little. she has quite the story to tell and i totally admire her for her strength and courage for all she has gone through in this life. it has taken me {SO} {SO} long to edit and post these because i {KNEW} i would want to take a moment and write down my feelings for her.

ma conchita...even though there is such a language burier between us, i know that you {love} me and boy do i {love} you! hearing some of your {translated} stories all my life has made me love you even more than just a grandma...i truley {admire} you for the life you have led. for the {strength} you have had to find in yourself and the Lord. for the mother you wanted to be and the grandma you are to myself and my babies! we all love when you make things for us because we know you put {love} into them! your giggle is {contagious} and your smile is always {bright} with red lipstick! your lttle shake when you dance {HAS} to be my favorite thing about you...no, it's your giggle. :) it's nice to have such a tradish gramdma that holds true to family heritage and memories. i {love} the part of me that came from you. i {love} that i have brown in me...even though some people dont believe it! thank you for loving me. and my siblings and my babies. thanks you for finding the good in me! i love you! {xoxoxox}

{welcome...}

i {finally} found some time to get this new blog up...with a name a bit less {cheesey} as my pocket full of posies...seriously, everytime i had to say that i curled into the fetal position inside! that name was {supposed} to be only for ME! for the picures of my sweeties...but soon it became the {drop spot} for all things photography. although i am {truley} grateful for that blog...and it is still alive and kickin', i must say i feel so much {better} to have a blog with a name that {IS} what it is!!
